Each year, we host a variety of events including performances, both at the Creation Space and other locations in the Borough, exhibitions, and interactive children's shows.

A variety of classes and workshops are also held at the Creation Space.

Alex @alexsaintivy describes his music as “Indie Folk Power Pop” taking inspiration from classic American artists like Tom Petty, Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen with a sprinkle of The New Radicals style energy. His songwriting is a mixture of wry observation and irony... unsurprising when you hail from a town most famous for it's roundabouts!!

It is May 1945 and as Victory in Europe is declared, the good townspeople of #Basingstoke begin planning a celebration for the community in the local infant school. However, the end of the war brings a desire to settle old scores, be free of oppression closer to home and to take a final revenge!
Murder is afoot, and it is up to you and your team to solve the mystery!

It's Bluebell Season!

We are so lucky in Basingstoke and Deane that we have some incredible ancient woodlands on our doorstep.

This gorgeous painting by @racheldavis.artist was inspired by one such bluebell wood. You can see more of her colourful impressionist artwork as part of the @7Artists + @7artistsplus @oswbnh exhibition with us from 17- 26 May.

An exciting opportunity to work with Proteus who are producing a new show written by Tabby Lamb about the lives of two 20th century trans legends, Michael Dillon and Roberta Cowell.
The show will rehearse and premiere at The Haymarket Theatre in September 2025 then tour the UK in Autumn 2026.
