Trans Social mixer nights: clothes swap event!

Join us for a new and informal monthly social night for the Trans community and their friends and allies.

Join us for this new, monthly hang out! These sessions are pre-booked, but free, and at each one we’ll teach you a bite sized lesson about trans history so you can learn while you hang with your local community.
Every session will also have it’s own unique “thing to do” in addition to the history which will include anything from crafting, to mini-pub/pop quizzes!

Your cis partners, friends, family, and curious allies are all welcome to attend and support this inclusive community social night.

August’s trans mixer event is a clothes swap!
Bring along any clothes that you no longer use to trade with others!
Free to attend. If you don’t have anything you’d like to swap, you’re still more than welcome to come hang out and have a good ol’ gab.

If you are bringing clothes, please make sure they have been washed beforehand, and please do not bring any undergarments or socks.
Other than that, bring what you please!

Any clothing left unclaimed at the end of the night will be donated to The TIN Wardrobe – a charity that donates free clothing to trans, intersex, and nonbinary people across the UK.

Event Information

• Dates and Times:  Friday 14th August, 6-9pm in the Proteus Cafe
• Tickets: FREE but MUST be pre-booked due to limited capacity

• Accessibility: The venue is all based on the ground floor and so accessible for most wheelchairs.  We have some limited disabled parking and an accessible toilet. This event will take place in our on-site cafe which is quite bijoux so if you have any specific access needs or would like more information, please call us or email so we can ensure your visit is as enjoyable as possible.
