Proteus Youth Theatre 7-11 years old

Tuesdays 6pm - 8pm

Proteus Youth Theatre 7-11 year old group supports individuals taking their first steps into the world of theatre!

Helping to kickstart a love of theatre from a young age, we focus on basic drama skills incorporating comedy and improvisation. The sessions are about building confidence, having fun and making friends who share an interest in drama.

I love the 2 hours I spend at youth theatre each week, sometimes I wish it was longer!

-Finley, current Proteus Youth Theatre 7-11's member

Terms typically run for 10 weeks. Summer term begins Tuesday 23rd April an ends on Tuesday 2nd July.

For the Summer term the group are devising an immersive/promenade 'whodunnit', which will encourage the audience to be part of the action! This will help them develop their improvisation skills and tapping into each individual's creativity.

We offer free taster sessions for young people to come and spend time with the group and see if our youth theatre is right for them. Please contact us to arrange.
