Proteus Youth Theatre 7-11 years old

Tuesdays 6pm - 8pm

Proteus Youth Theatre 7-11 year old group supports individuals taking their first steps into the world of theatre!

Helping to kickstart a love of theatre from a young age, we focus on basic drama skills incorporating comedy and improvisation. The sessions are about building confidence, having fun and making friends who share an interest in drama.

I love the 2 hours I spend at youth theatre each week, sometimes I wish it was longer!

Youth Theatre Bursary places

Thanks to the generous sponsorship and support of Lamb Brooks we are able to offer a number of Youth Theatre Bursaries to young people from Basingstoke who would like to take part.
At Proteus we believe every young person should have the opportunity to access the arts, whether they are experiencing performances as an audience member or through participation in our Youth Theatre, and with schools under pressure and creative subjects being cut, this support has never been more vital.

As a not-for-profit organisation we work hard to keep ticket prices and youth theatre membership (£7 per session) as affordable as possible, however we are delighted to be able to offer up to 3 sponsored bursary places per term to enable those young people most in need to take part, and who otherwise could not participate due to financial barriers.
If you are interested in finding out more about a bursary place in one of our Youth Theatre groups please email [email protected] for more information
