A very theatrical scavenger hunt!

Posted on 3rd April 2020

Hi, Helen here!

Homeschooling is going pretty well here at Palmer Towers, but I’ve just had a horrifying thought – next week is the school holidays! Given that I’m still going to be working at home, and homework from school will be minimal, what on earth am I going to do with Palmer Jr for those long days when she can’t go and play with her friends? (we don’t have a garden…)

Happily Pinterest has come to the rescue, with suggestions of colouring pages, crafts and interesting things to do. Don’t miss Johanna Basford (who has a wealth of drawing tutorials, challenges and downloadable colouring sheets)  and our own Kev Munday, who has shared some awesome added printable colouring posters to his site, for those who enjoy it. One of the artists we regularly work with ‘Junk Jodie’ has just launched her own Youtube channel, where she will be sharing junk modelling project videos to try and home.

I’m missing being in the Creation Space, so I thought it might be good to try a theatrical “scavenger hunt” – so, where in the theatre would you find the following things? (polite answers only please!) I’ve added a couple of answers so you get the idea, and a couple of these are specific to the Creation Space. There’s no absolute right or wrong, so just have fun!
