LET’S GO TO THE SEASIDE

Our brand-new immersive Summer show for families: LET’S GO TO THE SEASIDE will be at the Creation Space between 25th July – 2nd August 2026!

Pack up your swimming trunks, sun cream and a beach ball and follow Pip and her Dad to the ‘GREAT BRITISH SEASIDE’, for a hilarious, theatrical and interactive adventure-by-the-sea. The sun is out, so it must be time for an ice cream…just keep an eye out for those cheeky seagulls!

A brand-new show for 2026 Let’s Go To The Seaside! features a mix of interactive storytelling, exquisitely hand-crafted set design, delightful puppetry, music and sensory elements.

This walkthrough theatre adventure is perfect for children aged 2-8 to explore, play, create and interact with the hilarious and charming characters that they meet along the way.

If you and your family love our magical in-house Christmas shows like ‘The Christmas Dragon’ and or our previous summer shows ‘Fairy Finders’ and 2025’s ‘Let’s Go Camping’  then you are in for a treat this summer holidays, as we once again team up with Scratch Built Productions for a fun-filled and interactive summertime family adventure.

Ideal for younger theatre-goers, especially those aged between 2-8 years but is a joy for all ages, so invite the grandparents too!

• • Tickets: General admission £12.50 per person + *booking fee. Every attendee requires a valid ticket. Children under 12 months go free but please book a ticket for them. 
  • Dates + Times:  3 shows every day from Saturday 25th July until Sunday 2nd August at the following times: 10am | 11:30am  | 2pm
  • Relaxed performance (see below for details) Sunday 2nd August at 10am. BOOK
  • Age Guidance: Best suited for children between the ages of 2-8 years old but older and younger siblings are very welcome
  • Run Time: Approximately 50 – 55 minutes

Most suitable for:

This immersive show has something special  for ALL ages,  including plenty of sensory elements that even very young children and babies will enjoy as a e perfect gentle introduction to the world of theatre. Older children will delight in the narrative and interactive elements of the production and even grown ups can’t help but get lost in the heartwarming, funny story.

Relaxed Performances:

All performances are relaxed and inclusive for all,  we create a safe space where every child is welcome to step into our magical world. For parents/carers of SEN children who would prefer to attend at a quieter time, we will have a dedicated reduced capacity relaxed show (02/08/26) with lowered sound and light levels and a designated breakout space for those who need it.
A touch tour can be made available on request and we are also creating a social story for the building and the show itself. Please do contact us if you need any further information or guidance.

Are you a carer?

We offer free tickets to carers attending with an audience member that they care for . Please book the ticket for the attendee in the usual way online and then call the box office to arrange the carer’s ticket – this gives you the opportunity to ask any questions or make any arrangements regarding access needs if necessary.

Refunds, returns and exchanges

In the event you are unable to attend the performance you have booked for we will endeavour to exchange your tickets for another performance of the same production*, on condition that we are informed at least 48 hours before the performance (7 days for groups of more than 6 individuals on a single booking). We cannot offer a refund in these circumstances.
In the event that the performance you have booked for is cancelled or rescheduled, or is abandoned when less than half of the performance has taken place, you are entitled to a refund of the price paid.
