TICKETS: £10 per person (+booking fee) | Under 12 months go free but still require a ticket

The much-loved Scratch Built x Proteus Summer Show returns for 2024 with KNIGHT TIME a magical medieval adventure where you will be whisked away to faraway lands full of enchantment, with stories of friendship and bravery.

What would you do if you were face to face with a dragon?
Is jousting as painful as it looks? Just what is the best way to shine rusty armour? Join Jack as he finds out the hard way in this magical show from the creators of Fairy Finders and Help! There’s an Elf in my house.

Cheer Jack on as he competes in “The Knight Trials” and follow him on his adventures with his loyal horse Raspberry, meeting lots of colourful characters along the way!
The audience will be part of the interactive theatre show, which is brimming with Scratch Built’s trademark mix of magical storytelling, hilarious characters and gorgeous puppetry . Follow the tale around the Creation Space and find out if you have what it takes to become a real knight.
Following on from the success of extending the post-show experience for 2023’s  Fairy Finders, we invite audiences to enjoy a stay and play in our ‘Knight’s of the Realm room’, sponsored by Lamb Brookes, after the show. Here, children can design and make their own coat of arms to be displayed in a gallery and take part in other fun ‘Knight Trial’ and medieval-style games.
A perfect first theatre experience to enjoy with all the family, there’s enough adventure for everyone and you might even see a dragon or two!

BOOK NOW

Additional information about your visit:

Please ensure you arrive in good time for the start of the performance, as we will be starting promptly. Although we will endeavour to admit latecomers, this would mean your party will miss part of the show, which can be especially upsetting for younger children.– Our café will open before and after performances serving delicious Moonroast coffee, teas, tasty sweet treats, snacks and ice creams, but at this current time we are not serving lunches.– Please remember that we are a charitable arts organisation and the world, including us,  is short-staffed right now! We will always provide a warm welcome and ask visitors to be kind and considerate in return.

Are you a carer?

We offer free tickets to carers attending with an audience member that they are a carer for. Please book the ticket for the attendee in the usual way online and then call the box office to arrange the carer’s ticket – this gives you the opportunity to ask any questions or make any arrangements regarding access needs if necessary.

In the event you are unable to attend the performance you have booked for we will endeavour to exchange your tickets for another performance of the same production*, on condition that we are informed at least 48 hours before the performance (7 days for groups of more than 6 individuals on a single booking). We cannot offer a refund in these circumstances. In the event that the performance you have booked for is cancelled or rescheduled, or is abandoned when less than half of the performance has taken place, you are entitled to a refund of the price paid.
