Welcome to ‘Eco-friendly Indigo Dyeing’ with artist Sue Crook!
A messy but informative workshop! Come and explore how to easily create your own eco- friendly indigo vat and dye a stunning piece of cloth with talented local textile artist Sue Crook.
Learn how to make up and monitor the vat.
Prepare cloth to create “tie dye” designs on an upcycled piece of fabric (suitable for a cushion) and a T shirt.
Dye different shades of blue.
Sue will provide full details for you to take home.
A great opportunity to learn a new skill and contribute to a greener planet.
What to Expect
All materials included in the ticket price. Please bring an apron, rubber gloves as the workshop gets messy, and a plastic bag to take your items home.
