It's Bluebell Season!
We are so lucky in Basingstoke and Deane that we have some incredible ancient woodlands on our doorstep.
This gorgeous painting by @racheldavis.artist was inspired by one such bluebell wood. You can see more of her colourful impressionist artwork as part... of the @7Artists + @7artistsplus @oswbnh exhibition with us from 17- 26 May.

One of the most wonderful things about working for an organisation which supports artists at every stage of their career to make new work, is not only following their onward journey but when they return to share with us a fully-realised show or project.
...Phoenix by @helenpercival2018 is one such example. We are delighted to welcome Helen back to the Creation Space in #Basingstoke to perform her first-ever full show next week (10th April).
Helen spent a week with us back in 2023 to #randd ideas with Director @marcus_bazley as part of our Performance Lab artist support programme.
Now she is back with her one-woman show Phoenix, which explores transformation, healing & the messy joy of being alive. Set to the razor-sharp beats of a live percussionist, Phoenix is a whirlwind of spoken word poetry, movement & music, grabs you by the heartstrings & won’t let go until the final beat has been drummed.
