So excited to share this story with audiences at last!
🗓️ Opens 18th September Anvil Arts
Telling the story of the first gender affirming surgeries in the UK, our new production of The Law of Mayhem by Tabby Lamb opens at The Haymarket, Basingstoke on Thursday 18th September.
Some gorgeous early moments from the rehearsal room captured during Week One of The Law Of Mayhem by @tabbytslur
Week1 saw us focussing on using narrative circus as a physical language to elevate further into the words on the page.
Working @danielaessart of @scarabeusaerial to create ...nuance and tenderness in the movement.
These were snapped by our marketing manager while we were filming some video content but too atmospheric not to share on the main grid!
The show premiers at The Haymarket @anvil_arts from 18-20 Sept and tickets are now on sale! Link in bio.
Tomorrow we celebrate Basingstoke Pride hope to see lots of your showing your support 🏳🌈

A week ago we welcomed families from @ThesafeBasingstoke through the door to enjoy a special performance of Let's Go Camping
This was made possible thanks to sponsorship from @lambbrooks39 helping to fund places for families .
Michelle from the Safe said "For many of our families,... opportunities like this simply wouldn't be possible otherwise.
The show was engaging for all ages (even the adults!) and such a positive joyful experience. Being able to come to the theatre together creates precious memories and makes a huge difference, giving families the chance to spend quality time together"
Rob from Lamb Brooks (pictured with the cast) chatted to @scratchbuiltproductions about how the work they make is both immersive and as accessible as possible.
The sponsorship is part of a wider partnership that will support families in need to access both charity performances and also to participate as Lamb Brooks will be funding bursary places for young people to take part in Youth Theatre in the coming months.
Keep an eye out for more information in the coming weeks.
