LINE UP:

Revenant
REVENANT come at you from Basingstoke, England, and collectively have influences spanning from Guns & Roses, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Blackberry Smoke through to Metallica. With this heady mixture, you can anticipate a truly captivating sound from the rising rockers.

The crew features guitarist and vocalist, Sugarman Sam, who started life with notable blues band, The Voodoo Men before moving on to form the Dead Jackals where he settled into the role of guitar player as part of a twin harmony attack with Matthew Hudson. Together with bassist Robin Nutley and drummer Carl D, (who have more than earned their stripes on the touring circuit) REVENANT was born.
The band pulls in favourable comparisons to everyone from Chris Cornell and Alter Bridge, through to Blackstone Cherry.

REVENANT are bringing their message to the masses and are armed with their superb new EP, What A Time To Be Alive. This isn’t just a bit of fun; this is real life and stories about hope, love and life—the good, the bad and the ugly.
Prepare to meet your favourite new band and enjoy music from the contagious Southern Rockets live and unplugged for this special gig!

Margarita Sleepover
Margarita Sleepover is a narrative stamped by powerful yet nuanced vocal delivery; with a range and distinctive tone that conveys vulnerability and strength from a myriad of thought-provoking sentiments. An acoustic set music with a heart full of melodies and a soul powered voice. Bringing a mix of simple yet raw emotion on a musical journey of storytelling. Embracing the unforgettable moments of life through the magic of acoustic music. Female vocalist, Nell, brings a softer side to her other vocal projects with a cocktail of midnight melodies that make up the Margarita Sleepover sound.

Rob Butler
Storytelling through his music, Rob shares his life experiences and music influences through his Guitar and Voice. Influenced by artists such as Shawn James, City and Colour, Ben Howard, Coheed and Cambria and Billie Eilish, Rob is an Andover original artist currently playing shows around the South, including London, Bournemouth and Southampton, and he hopes that his audience can find something to relate to in his music in their own way.

“Beautifully crafted songs, with a gift for meaning”

Wherewithal.

An erstwhile band of alt-pop tearaways, Wherewithal are now an acoustic duo channelling their noisy inner indie-kid in the face of parenting, political activism, and early middle-aged journeys of self-discovery. Regulars on the Basingstoke music circuit we can’t wait to welcome them to the Creation Space for this varied and exciting night of acoustic sets.

Joshua Chinappen
Joshua has been playing music since he was 4, which began with playing the violin and singing in his primary school choir. He’s been songwriting since the age of 15 and, with the encouragement from his Dad and music teachers he has taken the next steps to pursue his music and songwriting.
When Covid hit, Josh found himself engrossed in songwriting eventually leading to the birth of his first album “The Street Where We Live” Which he recorded by himself at 16 in his Dad’s studio.
Studying music production at college led to performing at open mic nights and then onto further music studies at university where he began to gig more regularly.
2023 became one of the best years in music of his life, releasing 2 projects; Inline (single) and Stuck In My Room (EP) with the title track of his EP appearing on the local radio.
