Kids Yoga and Mindfulness

Wednesdays 4pm - 4.45pm **New term begins 8th September**

A brand new kids yoga and mindfulness class with Kelly of Yogi Vibes.
The class will involve story telling which incorporates yoga sequences to engage the children.
Breathing and meditation will be conducted through games and play to encourage youngster to feel empowered with the understanding of how to calm their nerves.
Each session is gently themed and will be include a craft activity as part of the session to encourage the skill of mindfulness through creativity.
An example of these include; making rice shakers to aid in reducing busy minds, dream catchers to aid in better sleep etc.
The classes will be fun, engaging, giving the young participants the chance to meet others outside of school and engage in activities that are good for both mental and physical well-being.

Week 1: Peppa pig loves yoga

Week 2: I love flowers: yoga flow and planting seeds

Week 3: I love tie dye: yoga glow and tie dye

Week 4: I love dreaming: yoga flow abs dream catcher making

Week 5: The Gruffalo loves yoga, yoga flow and mask making

Week 6: I let go of my worries: yoga flow and tote bag decorating

Suitable for ages 6-9 years old
