Suitable for ages 12+
Part of our Performance Lab series
A young man loses his home and is stuck in limbo.
A boy locked in a tower builds wings to escape.
Inspired by the myth of Icarus and featuring aerial trapeze, this debut piece from Atlas Descending explores imagination as a means of escape. Just as Icarus built wings and flew towards the sun, our hero dreams of flying away.
Atlas Descending is an emerging theatre company, whose work is inspired by magic, monsters and mythology. The company was founded by Clare McCall and Jasmin Mandi-Ghomi whilst studying at Royal Central School of Speech & Drama. Between The Sun & The Sea will premiere in September at The Crypt Gallery as part of the Modern Myths festival.
Tickets available from wegottickets.com or in person from the Creation Space. Please note that we are unable to reserve tickets or take bookings over the phone.
