Thursday 14th & Friday 15th July 2011
The Monday Pro-jectors, made up of members of the Central Studio and Proteus Young People's Theatre, present the tragic scope and strength of Thomas Hardy's most celebrated novel in this exciting adaptation, narrated by a Chorus in the style of Greek Tragedy. Tess' story is one where her beauty becomes a poisoned chalice; she is seduced by one man, abandoned by another, forced into an itinerant life and finally pushed beyond endurance so murders her seducer.
